From their home planet, where the lives of animals are valued by some and discarded by others, events lead into a mystical dream sequence. Luke and Greg discover another world called Jinan, which means paradise gardens. In this paradise, all animals are treated humanely, the people are all well and happy, and everyone treats each other with kindness and respect. When Luke wakes up from his dream, he enjoys a wonderful surprise and special event involving a magical hot air balloon fantasy and features many of the characters from previous books in the series.
